Built with market-proven 24-strand double braid rope, bespoke Fidus hitch cordage, and DMM’s precision hardware, the Nomad provides outstanding reliability, smooth friction management, and long-term durability across all working environments.

The Nomad system adapts perfectly to your climbing style, seasonal conditions, and workspace layout. It is also certified for two-person rescue loads and can serve as a temporary anchor assembly when needed.

Durable construction: 24-strand polyester cover with a nylon core — flexible, easy to grip, and highly abrasion-resistant.
Fidus hitch cords: Polyester core and sheath provide consistent friction performance, even under heavy UV exposure and extended use.
Compatible friction hitches: Certified for Distel 5+1, Schwabisch 5+1, and VT 5+2 configurations using Fidus 8.5 mm Eye to Eye cords.
DMM TAP 2 pulley: Allows smooth friction hitch advancement, minimal sit-back, and multiple configuration options.
Certified anchor assembly: Rated for up to two-person rescue loads under PD CEN/TS 16415:2013.
Replaceable components: Every part of the Nomad system can be replaced or upgraded to extend product lifespan.
Available variants: The Nomad + includes a DMM Director Yoke connector, colour-matched Ultra O, TAP 2, Fidus 8.5 mm Eye to Eye and Fidus 6.5 mm Loop; the standard Nomad includes the same rope and configurations but omits the Director Yoke and Fidus 6.5 mm Loop.
